Dr. Sean Orr, LAc, DAcOM, serves as Assistant Curriculum Developer and Professor of History, Assessment and Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Orr’s educational background includes a Master of Counseling Psychology with emphasis in Eco-Feminist Psychology from Northeastern University, Whole Systems Design / Green Building from Yestermorrow in Warren, VT, as well as a MAc and Doctorate from AOMA in Austin TX. Dr Orr is honored to have studied Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis with Dr. William Morris, Shakuju Therapy from Master Shoji Kobayashi, Chinese Herbs with Dr. Yuxin He, Qi Gong with Qianzhi Wu and Sheng Zhen Meditation with Master Li Junfeng. When not teaching or running his thriving clinical practice, Praxis Integrated Medical Arts in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Orr enjoys hiking with his two rescue dogs, music and the arts.
